Our office is in Kailash Apartments, which is over in IP Extension in Delhi. We are at unit number 91. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy part of town with a lot of people living and working close together. We’ve been running Ghatge Patil Transports from this location for quite some time. It’s a residential-style building, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office block. We have a lot of history in the transport business, and this Delhi branch handles a lot of the northern routes. The office itself is usually full of maps and transport schedules. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we like it that way. There is always a lot of chatter about truck arrivals and departures. Dealing with Delhi traffic is a full-time job on its own. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and customers. It’s a gritty business, and we don't spend money on fancy decorations. We just need the lights to stay on and the internet to work so we can track our fleet. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don’t put on airs. We just make sure the goods get from one point to another without getting lost in the shuffle.
