Gautam Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya

Gautam Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya is located at D-86 in Shakarpur, right opposite the Laxmi Nagar side. It’s a very busy part of town, with the metro station and the main road always packed with people and traffic. Our place is a bit more traditional than the modern clinics you see around. We focus on Ayurvedic treatments and have been doing so for quite a long time. The interior is simple, with basic furniture and lots of glass jars filled with different roots and herbs. It’s not a very big space, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have several people waiting. We do our own preparation of some medicines, so there’s often the smell of herbs being ground up in the back. Shakarpur is a place where everyone is in a hurry, but we try to take things a bit slower here. We don't have a big team or a marketing department. It’s mostly family-run, and we rely on the people who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes the noise from the main road is a bit much, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be a high-end spa or anything like that. We just provide traditional Ayurvedic care for the local people who live and work in this part of Delhi.
