Our little spot is located at Prop No. S-38 in Pandav Nagar, right on the ground floor. If you know where the Radha Krishan Mandir is, you can’t miss us because we are tucked just behind it. The bells from the temple are actually a nice way to keep track of the day without looking at a clock too much. We focus on people from the North East who have moved here to Delhi and might feel a bit lost in such a big city. It’s a small room, honestly, and we have to move the chairs around if more than four people want to sit down. We usually have the door open to catch a breeze because Pandav Nagar gets quite warm in the summer months. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We spend our time helping people find their way around, maybe looking at forms or just giving them a place to sit for a bit where they feel understood. It’s not a fancy office with glass partitions or anything like that. It’s just a place with some posters on the wall and a few of us trying to stay organized. We don't have a big strategy; we just listen to what people say they need and try to find a way to help them out. It’s mostly just being there when someone needs a familiar face in a strange place. We try to keep things simple and honest.
