Footsteps

Footsteps is located at Plot Number 328 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a busy place with lots of people coming and going throughout the day. We mostly make shoes and different kinds of footwear here. It started out small and we’ve just stayed in this same spot while things slowly grew over the years. The building is full of rolls of material and the sound of sewing machines running. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the rhythm of it. We aren't some big famous brand you see on TV with commercials. We’re just local people making stuff that people can actually wear in their everyday lives. Sometimes we run into issues with the machines or a shipment of material isn't quite right, but we deal with it as it comes. Everyone here knows their job and we just get on with it. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make decent shoes that don't fall apart after a week. If you come by Patparganj, you’ll see our staff heading in early every morning. We’ve been part of this area for quite a while now and we’re happy to be here. It’s just a normal factory doing its thing every day. We often have samples lying around the office area that we’re testing out for comfort. It’s a lot of trial and error before we get a new design right, but we enjoy it.
