Excel Batteries

Excel Batteries is tucked away in Lakshmi Nagar at Gali No 8 D-354. It’s a narrow street, so if you’re coming by car, you have to be careful where you stop. We’ve been in this little corner for a good bit now. The shop is basically a garage filled with batteries of all sizes. It smells a bit like lead and plastic in here, which you get used to after a while. We handle batteries for motorcycles, cars, and those big backup systems for houses. Most of our customers are locals who live right here in the neighborhood. They come in when their scooters won't start in the morning. We have a small bench where we test the old batteries to see if they can still hold a charge or if they’re just finished. My cousin works with me, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of dust on the higher shelves. We try to be helpful and tell people how to make their batteries last longer so they don't have to come back too soon. The street outside is always noisy with kids playing and people moving about. We open early because that’s when people realize their battery is dead. It's a simple life, but we like being part of the community here and doing work that people actually need.
