This is D.S. Construction Limited. You can find us at H 19C Shakarpur, which is near Sanjay Park in Delhi. The business is run by Gopal Gupta and Shiv Kumar Gupta. We have been in the construction trade for a long time now. Our office is just a small room in the building where we keep our maps and site plans. It’s a family-run place and we don’t have any fancy corporate layers. We do building work all over this part of Delhi. It’s a very busy area, so getting our trucks and materials in and out can be a bit of a headache with the narrow streets and all the parked cars. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on the work we’ve done in the past to get new jobs. People in Shakarpur know the Guptas and they know we do building work for the community. We have a crew of workers who have been with us through many projects. They are good people. We don’t use any slick language to sell ourselves. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. Construction is a messy, loud business but we’ve grown to like it over the years. We just try to get things built right and stay on schedule. There is always a new project to start once one is done and we keep moving through the work.
