Dr. Ranu Clinic

We are located near the Main Chowk in Gharoli Village. If you are in Gharoli, you definitely know where the chowk is. The clinic is right in the thick of things. It’s a busy little area with shops and people moving around all day long. Dr. Ranu’s office isn't very big, but it serves the whole village. We get people coming in for all sorts of things, from minor cuts to seasonal flu. The waiting area is just a few wooden benches where people sit and chat while they wait. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don't really do appointments in a strict way, people just show up and wait their turn. Sometimes the wait is short, other times you might be here for an hour or so. That's just how it goes in the village. The clinic stays open through the afternoon heat. We have a simple desk where we take down names and give out tokens. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. You might hear the goats or the motorbikes outside while you are sitting in the exam room. It’s just a part of life here in Gharoli. We try to keep the place clean, but with all the dust from the road, it’s a constant job. It is a humble place, but we are here every day to help folks and give out the medicine they need.
