Our office is in New Ashok Nagar, specifically at H. No. B-328B in Block-B. Dorcus Trading Private Limited has been running from this location in East Delhi for a good bit now. It is a residential-style building that we have converted into our workspace. This makes the office feel a bit more like a home than a cold corporate building. We have a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and stacks of documents. Most of what we do involves trading different goods, so we spend a lot of time on the phone negotiating prices or checking on delivery times. The streets in New Ashok Nagar can be quite narrow, so getting large deliveries right to the door can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing tax papers.
