Our office is on the 3rd floor of building D 7, located on Street No. 8 in West Vinod Nagar, New Delhi. It is right there in the middle of a very crowded part of the city. Being on the 3rd floor means we get a bit of a view of the rooftops in the neighborhood, but it also means a lot of stairs to climb every morning. Street No. 8 is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when cars are trying to pass each other. Inside the office, it is quite cozy. We have our desks set up near the windows to get as much natural light as we can. The noise from the street below filters up, so there is always a background hum of traffic and people talking. We keep a small fridge in the corner for cold water and some snacks. It’s not a polished space by any means. There are boxes of papers tucked under the tables and wires running along the baseboards. We’ve been in West Vinod Nagar for a while now and have become accustomed to the pace of life here. The 110092 area is always humming with activity. We mostly just focus on our daily tasks, answering emails and keeping our files in order. It’s a plain, honest workspace where we spend our eight hours before heading back into the crowd.
