Disha Traders

Our shop is at IX/1221 in Ekta Market, on Pusta Road in Gandhi Nagar. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets during the day. We spend most of our time moving stock and checking what’s come in. Trading isn't always glamorous work. It’s a lot of counting items, making sure the boxes aren't damaged, and talking to suppliers on the phone. Disha Traders has been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the market, just a reliable one people can trust. The shop is often filled with stuff and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit, but that’s just how it is. We deal with all sorts of people coming in and out of Ekta Market. Some want one thing, some want a hundred. We just treat everyone the same and try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. It gets really hot in the summer and the dust from Pusta Road always finds its way in, but we just keep going. We don't have a big marketing plan or fancy flyers. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We’re just regular people working a regular job in a very busy part of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a bit messy sometimes but the work gets done and that’s what really matters to us in the end.
