Deepali Charitable Foundation

You can find Deepali Charitable Foundation over in Kalyan Puri. We are at 15/311, up on the second floor. It’s a typical Delhi building and we’ve been here for some time now. We started this foundation because we wanted to give back to the place where we live. Kalyan Puri is a busy area and there’s always something happening. Our space isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech equipment. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and people trying to help other people. We handle a lot of different things depending on what the neighbors need at the moment. Some weeks we are focusing on one thing, and the next week it might be something totally different. We aren't experts in everything, but we try to find the right answers. It feels good to be part of the community here in 110091. We know the shopkeepers and the families nearby. It makes the work feel more real when you actually know the people you are talking to. We don't put out a lot of reports or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. If you’re in the area and climb up to the second floor, you’ll see us working away.
