Living or working around the Jagat Puri Marble Market means you’re used to the dust and the sound of trucks unloading. Deepak Nurshing Home is right there on Parawana Road, sitting across from Gagan Vihar. It’s a local spot, nothing too grand about it. The building is H-7 and it’s been part of the landscape for a while now. When you walk in, you’ll likely see some folks from the market or neighbors from the local streets. It’s a nursing home where things happen at their own pace. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times the lobby is full of families talking. We’ve got some rooms that are basic but they serve the purpose. The staff knows most of the regular patients by their first names or just as "uncle" or "aunty." It’s that kind of place. The stairs are a bit narrow, so everyone has to be careful. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just find us because we’re here in the middle of everything. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic outside on the main road, but once you’re inside, it’s okay. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure the patients are looked after. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work with what we have.
