We work out of the Laxmi Deep Building, specifically units 211 and 212. It’s right in the Lakshmi Nagar District Centre, which is a pretty crowded area especially being so close to V3S Mall. Citizen Watches India has been here for a good amount of time. People come in with their watches that stopped working or maybe just need a new battery or strap. It's a technical kind of job. We sit at our benches and look at the tiny gears and parts all day. The lighting has to be just right. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with all the other offices around, but we stay focused on the work. Dealing with timepieces requires a lot of patience. We see all kinds of watches, from old ones that have been passed down through families to the newer ones folks just bought. The District Centre is always buzzing with people shopping or going to the mall. Getting here can be a bit of a trek if the traffic is bad near the mall. Our office is straightforward. We have the counters for customers and then the workspace in the back. It’s not a flashy showroom, just where the actual work happens. We handle the repairs and the logistics for the brand in this region. It’s steady work and we see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood.
