Childhud Cherish Foundation

You will find us at 109 in Madhuban Tower. That is right by Madhuban Chowk in the Shakarpur area. It is a pretty busy building with a lot of different offices, but we are the ones focused on the kids. We call it Childhud Cherish, though we are not always great at the spelling or the fancy names. We just liked the sound of it. Being in Veer Savarkar Block means there is always a lot of foot traffic. We get people popping in all the time just to ask what we are up to. We do not have a polished speech ready for them. We just tell them we are trying to make things a little better for the children around here. The office is not very big, and the elevator in the tower is sometimes broken, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It keeps us fit, I guess. We are not some massive NGO with branches everywhere. We are just right here in Shakarpur. Our desks are usually a mess of drawings and school supplies. We do not mind the clutter. It shows that we are actually doing something. Most of the time, we are just regular folks who wanted to spend our time on something meaningful. We do not have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a to-do list that never seems to get shorter. That is okay with us though.
