Chevrolet(Autvikas)

Down in Laxmi Nagar at the K 17 spot, we spend most of our time around cars and engines. This Patiala area in Delhi is always moving, and so are we. Being part of the Autvikas name means we see a lot of people coming in with their Chevrolets, looking for a bit of help or maybe just a specific part they can’t seem to find anywhere else in the city. The garage floor is usually covered in a bit of oil, and there is always that strong smell of tires and engine grease in the air. It is not the kind of place where you would ever want to wear your best clothes to work. We have a few old chairs in the waiting area for the customers, but most people just end up standing around and chatting with us while we take a look at their vehicles. It is a noisy place with the constant sound of wrenches and the occasional engine revving up, but that is just how a real workshop should be. We don’t try to act like a big corporate showroom with fancy coffee machines. We are just a bunch of guys who know our way around a car and want to help the folks in Delhi keep their rides on the road. Sometimes we are a bit short-staffed and things take a little longer than we wanted, but we try to be honest about it.
