Capital Transformers Pvt Ltd is based at 56 B on the GT Road side of Dilshad Garden, right in the Shahdara area. We are right in the thick of the industrial and transport hub. Our work involves heavy electrical stuff, mostly transformers, so the shop floor is always full of metal, wires, and the smell of oil. It is a noisy place, especially when the machines are running or when trucks are loading up on GT Road. We have been operating out of this Shahdara location for many years. Most of our workers have been with us since the beginning, and they know the equipment inside out. It’s hard work and your hands are rarely clean at the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy front office with air conditioning that works all the time. Instead, we have a functional space where we get the job done. Customers come here because they know we are familiar with the technical side of things. The traffic on GT Road can be a nightmare, so we usually tell people to visit us early in the day before the big jams start. It’s an old-school way of running a business, focusing on the repairs and the builds rather than on looking polished. We just keep the lights on and keep the tools moving to make sure the orders are ready when promised. It is a lot of lifting and fixing, but we are used to it by now.
