Capital Photographics

Capital Photographics is located right on Vikas Marg. If you know the area, you know how incredibly busy this road is at almost any time of the day. There’s a constant stream of cars, buses, and people walking by. Our shop is right in the thick of it. It’s a small place, packed with cameras, lenses, and all sorts of photography gear. We’ve been here for a while and the walls are covered with old photos and frames. It’s not one of those sterile, modern stores you find in malls. It’s a bit messy, with boxes stacked in corners and the smell of old paper and electronics. We spend our days talking to people about their photos or fixing some old equipment that’s seen better days. The noise from Vikas Marg is something you never really escape, but it becomes like background music after a while. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a camera. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when more than two customers come in at once, but we make it work. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they wait. It’s a very straightforward business. We just like cameras and we like being on Vikas Marg where everything is happening. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our spot and we are happy with it. Most days we are just busy with the daily rush and trying to keep the dust off the equipment. It’s a lot of work but we like it here on this street. There's always something to see.
