Build India

We’re located at G-3 in Dilshad Colony. It’s a small ground-floor space. If you’re familiar with the colony, you know it’s a lot of narrow lanes and people everywhere. Our place isn't easy to spot if you’re driving fast, but we’ve been here long enough that most people around here know us. We handle building supplies and some small-scale construction stuff. It’s not a fancy shop. We have some samples of materials on the walls and a lot of ledgers on the desk. Most of our time is spent on the phone or out at sites checking on how things are going. It’s just a few of us running the show. We don't have a big staff or a fancy logo. We just go by Build India because it’s what we do—help people build their houses or shops. Some days are really hectic with deliveries coming in late or customers needing things urgently. Other days we just sit and wait for the phone to ring. We’ve seen a lot of buildings go up in this area over the years. It’s nice to think we had a small part in some of them. We keep things pretty straightforward. No complicated contracts or anything, just honest talk and getting the materials delivered where they need to go. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy enough throughout the month.
