Blue Ribbon Foundation

If you ever find yourself in Ashoka Niketan, you might pass by our place at B-40 on the ground floor. We are the Blue Ribbon Foundation. We’ve been in this part of East Delhi for some time now. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got some old wooden tables and a printer that jams more often than we’d like. It’s a local operation, run by people who actually live around here. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. We just focus on small projects that make life a little better for the folks in our community. Some days we’re organizing a small drive for clothes, and other days we’re just helping a neighbor understand a new rule from the city. We aren't looking to change the whole world, just our little corner of it in 110092. The ground floor is handy because people can see us as they walk by. We get a lot of foot traffic that way. We aren't polished or professional in the way big city firms are. We’re just practical. We use plain English and try to get straight to the point. If something needs doing, we try to do it. It’s not always perfectly organized, and our files are a bit of a mess sometimes. But we care about the work. We’ve been part of Ashoka Niketan for years and we plan to stay right here at B-40, helping out where we can.
