Birag Home Furnishing Private Limited works out of a flat in Vasundhra Enclave. We are at Flat Number 56 in the NavJagriti Apartments, Plot C-11. It’s a residential area, so it feels very different from a standard commercial district. We use the flat to handle all our home furnishing business. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the samples of fabrics, curtains, and cushions we have lying around. We don’t have a big storefront or a display window. Most of our work is done through samples we show to people or catalogs we send out. The apartment is where we do all the planning and the paperwork. It’s a quiet place, except for when the neighbors are around. We like being in Vasundhra Enclave because it’s got a lot of trees and feels peaceful. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us taking care of the business. Sometimes the courier has trouble finding the right apartment, so we have to go down to the gate to meet them. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just focus on getting the furnishings right for whoever is buying them. We don’t use any marketing fluff. It’s just a small operation in a residential flat, doing what we know how to do. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the orders.
