Bawean Di Hatti

You can find Bawean Di Hatti over at G-56/A on the Main Vikas Marg in Laxmi Nagar. If you’ve ever walked through this area, you know it’s one of the most crowded spots in Delhi. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place hasn't changed much over the years. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, packed with all kinds of items that people need. It gets quite tight inside when we have more than a few customers at once, but nobody seems to mind. The street outside is a constant stream of rickshaws, vendors, and people rushing to the metro. We don’t have a fancy website or a social media manager. We just open the doors early in the morning and stay until the late evening. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We spend a lot of time chatting with them about their families or the neighborhood gossip while we find what they need. It’s a family business, so you’ll often see my relatives helping out behind the counter. We don’t have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just try to keep the shop stocked and treat people fairly. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery, but that’s just life in a busy market like Laxmi Nagar.
