If you head over to Pandav Nagar, you'll find us at Flat Number 37 in the C-240 block. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which is nice sometimes. We’ve been running Balaji Impex from this apartment for a good while. It's a small team, mostly just us sitting around the table going over import and export documents. There are files stacked up on almost every surface. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and trying to track shipments coming in from overseas. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to find out why. That’s just the nature of the work. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a local business in New Delhi 110092 trying to earn a living. The neighborhood is alright, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you come at the wrong time of day. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. If the door is open, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't on the phone. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to dress it up with big words. It’s just about getting the goods from one place to another without any unnecessary headaches for us or the people we work with.
