B M Corporate Services is tucked away on the top floor of B-75 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. We are right opposite Press Appartment, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Being on the top floor means we have to walk up a lot of steps, which keeps us somewhat fit, I suppose. The office is pretty basic. We have a few fans that hum all day and desks that are piled with folders. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of engines and loading going on nearby. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. Most of our day is spent handling corporate tasks and keeping records straight. It’s quiet work in a loud neighborhood. We’ve looked out at Press Appartment for years now and seen the trees grow. We aren't interested in looking polished or using big words to describe what we do. We just come in, sit down, and get through the list of things that need doing. The sun hits the windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We like it that way because it feels like home to us. There is always a lot of dust because of the industrial work outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our desks and keyboards.
