Ayat Impex India Private Limited is right on the ground floor at F-35B in Gali No-20. If you know Mangal Bazar in Laxmi Nagar, you know how busy it gets around here. There are people everywhere and the market noise is constant, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. Being in East Delhi means there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly handle the import and export side of things, which means there are always stacks of documents on the desks and sometimes samples lying around that need to be checked. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. We start our day early before the market gets too crowded so we can get some of the heavy work done in peace. Later on, it’s just a lot of coordinating with vendors and checking on the status of deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a break until it comes back on. It’s a very local feel here. We know the neighbors and the guys running the tea stall nearby. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular place where we do our business every day. We focus on getting the tasks finished so we can go home on time. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving while we work.
