Our office is on the third floor of M.S. Chamber in Aruna Park, which is part of the Laxmi Nagar area. Atulyam Hotel and Facility Management is what we call ourselves. Being in East Delhi means we are always surrounded by the hum of the city. We handle the backend of running hotels and keeping facilities in good order. It’s a lot of cleaning schedules, fixing broken pipes, and making sure the lights stay on for our clients. We aren't sitting in a fancy lobby; we are up here in room 310 C-1/A dealing with the paperwork and the headaches that come with management. Some days the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We manage a lot of different people across different sites, so the phone never really stops ringing. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make sure the buildings don't fall apart. We focus on the small details that people usually don't notice until something goes wrong. We’ve been working out of Laxmi Nagar for a while now and we know the local vendors and the shortcut through the traffic. We just try to be useful and keep the properties we manage running without too much trouble for the owners. It’s plain work for plain people, and we take it as it comes without making any big promises we can't keep.
