Asha Jain Foundation

We set up the Asha Jain Foundation in Ghazipur at the National Arcade. Our office is number 103, just on the first floor, so you don't have to climb too many stairs. The area around Plot Number 4 is usually quite active with the local market and shops nearby. It's a DDA LSC area, so it has that typical government-built feel to the layout. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks and getting through the paperwork. It can get a bit noisy from the street outside, but we’ve grown used to it over the months. We keep things pretty simple here. There aren't any big decorations or expensive furniture. We have the essentials to run the foundation. A couple of computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of chairs for when people come to talk to us. Ghazipur is an interesting part of East Delhi to work in. You see all sorts of people every day. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby. It's a straightforward place of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a flashy office. We just want to have a base where we can manage the foundation's activities without too much fuss. It gets the job done for the people here.
