Arif Chaudhary

Arif Chaudhary runs this place in I P Extension. We are right in the Pankaj Central Market, at unit F 41. Being in a market means there is never a dull moment. There are people coming and going from morning until night. F 41 is tucked in among many other shops. It is not a very big space, but it is enough for what Arif needs to do. I have been helping out here for a while. The market has its own rhythm. You hear the sounds of other shopkeepers and customers all day long. Sometimes it is hard to find parking nearby because the market gets so full. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have some shelves and a main counter. I do not think we have changed the layout in years. It is comfortable and familiar. I P Extension is a nice area, quite residential around the market, so we get a lot of locals. We do not really do any advertising. People just find us by walking through the market or by word of mouth. It is an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. Arif is usually here keeping an eye on things. We just try to keep up with the daily chores and handle whatever comes our way. It is a steady, simple business. Most days go by pretty fast when you are in the middle of a market.
