Ani Glass Corporation

Ani Glass Corporation is located in Lane No. 8 at Jagat Puri, specifically units F-53-54. If you have ever been to Jagat Puri, you know how narrow these lanes can get. It is a real trick getting the glass trucks in and out without scratching anything. We have glass sheets of all sizes leaning against the walls, so you have to be careful where you walk. There is always the sound of glass being cut or the grinding machine smoothing down the edges. It is a dusty place because of the polishing, and we all wear aprons to keep the glass shards off our clothes. The shop floor is always a bit of a mess with offcuts and crates. We do not have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come into the back and look at the stacks. It gets pretty hot in the summer since we are surrounded by other buildings and there is not much breeze. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. Most of our guys have been cutting glass for years and can do it with their eyes closed, though they obviously do not. We just focus on getting the measurements right and the orders out on time. It is a hard job, heavy and delicate at the same time, but it is what we do to keep things running.
