Amrish Creations

Our workshop is at 254 in the Patparganj Industrial Estate. Being in an industrial area means it’s not the prettiest place in Delhi, but it’s very practical for what we do every day. There’s always big trucks moving around and the sound of machinery from the neighboring units next door. We’ve been at this address for several years now. Amrish started the whole thing a long time ago and we’ve just kept it going through the ups and downs. The space is mostly filled with equipment and piles of raw materials. It gets pretty hot in the summer under the roof, but we’re used to it by now. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist to greet people. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the middle of whatever we’re working on at the time. We don't use fancy jargon or try to impress anyone with big words. We just tell it like it is to everyone who asks. If a job is going to take a week, we tell them it'll take a week. We’ve learned that being honest is the best way to run things in Patparganj. People here value hard work over anything else. We have a few guys who have been with us since the very first day. We’re like a small family and we eat lunch together most days to talk about life outside of work. It’s not much, but it’s what we do.
