Alucon Metal

We operate out of Mayur Vihar Phase III, specifically at the 4-M block. Alucon Metal is mostly about aluminum and various metal works. It’s a noisy environment, as you’d expect with all the cutting and shaping going on. We have stacks of metal sections and sheets leaning against the walls. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings scattered around. We spend our days taking measurements and cutting things to size for whatever project is on the go. It’s heavy work and it can get pretty hot in the summer months under the roof here. We don’t have a fancy office or a showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just walk into the workshop and look at the stuff we’re currently building. We do things like window frames, doors, and other structural bits and pieces. It’s not glamorous, but it’s solid work that needs to be done right so everything fits together when it gets to the site. Most of us here have callouses on our hands and we’re used to the sound of the saws. We just get on with the orders as they come in. Being in Phase III means we are close to a lot of residential areas, so we get a lot of local work. We aren't a big corporation, just a bunch of guys who know how to handle metal and get it delivered on time. It’s hard work, but we like seeing things built properly.
