Ailza Welfare Foundation

You can find Ailza Welfare Foundation over in Trilokpuri. We are at J.B.-2/124 in Block No 2, which is part of the Indra Camp area. It is a very busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on right outside our door. The space we have is quite modest, just a regular part of the block. We don't have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just a room where we sit and talk about how to help the community. People in Trilokpuri are very hardworking, and we see a lot of them coming in and out throughout the week. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for everyone, but we make do with what we have. The floors are simple, and the desks are a bit old, but they serve their purpose. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to be available for the people living in the camp and the surrounding blocks. It can get quite dusty because of the construction nearby, and the noise from the street is constant, but that is just life in this part of Delhi. We focus on the work at hand rather than making things look polished. It is a real place for real people, and we are happy to be situated right here in the heart of the community. We usually have the door open so people can just walk in.
