Adiyani Foundation

We are over here in Village Bhagwati Nagarkamre. It’s a quiet place mostly, though the mornings get busy when people are heading out. Adiyani Foundation started because there seemed to be things that needed doing right here in the village. We didn't want to go into the city for everything. The building we use isn't anything fancy, just a plain spot where we keep our papers and meet up. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but it works well enough for us. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks who live nearby. It’s not like those big offices you see on TV with glass walls. We have some chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. Usually, someone is dropping by to ask a question or just to say hello while they’re passing through. The road outside can get a bit dusty in the summer months. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up when we are busy outside. It is just a few of us working together. We know most of the families around Bhagwati Nagarkamre by name. It feels right to be working in the same place where we live. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the door. People know where to find us if they need something. That’s how we like it, keeping it simple and just doing the work that comes our way each day without making a big fuss about it. We just take things as they come.
