Accelerate Social Welfare Foundation

Accelerate Social Welfare Foundation is located at 12/596, U/S/F, Gali No. 15, West Guru Angad Nagar in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a bit of a squeeze in our office, but we make it work. We aren't some massive organization with huge funding. Most of what we do involves just talking to people in the neighborhood and seeing where a hand is needed. The streets around Laxmi Nagar are always busy, so there’s never a quiet moment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from folks who need help with various things. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we can’t help everyone who walks through the door. That’s the hardest part of the job. We don't have a big PR team writing our posts. It’s just us typing things out between meetings. Some days we are organized, and other days it’s a bit of a mess with papers flying everywhere. We’ve been at this address for a while now. People know the door is usually open if they need to chat. We don’t make big promises. We just do what we can with the resources we have at the time. It’s a small foundation, but we are rooted here in West Guru Angad Nagar. We just take it one day at a time, trying to be useful to the people around us. It’s tiring but worth it.
