Aakarti Ek Chhaya Foundation

Aakarti Ek Chhaya Foundation is located in Madhuban Tower, which is a fairly well-known building if you’re familiar with the Madhuban Chowk area. We are in room 109, right in the Veer Savarkar Block. Being at the Chowk means there is always a lot of activity outside—lots of cars honking and people rushing to the metro or the buses. The tower itself has seen a lot of years, and the elevator can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. Our office isn't very big, but it has enough room for our small team to sit and work. There’s a window that looks out towards the other buildings, though the view is mostly just concrete and wires. We’ve got a few cabinets filled with files that we've collected over time. It feels like a typical local office where people just come to do their jobs and then head home. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or anything; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when someone knocks. The floor is that old grey tile that stays cold in the winter. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea throughout the day because it keeps us going. It’s an honest sort of place, nothing flashy, just a room where we try to stay organized and keep moving forward with our tasks.
