We have been here at Shop No 106 in the Desh Bandhu Gupta Market for a long time now. Karol Bagh is always busy, especially near Patparganj Road, and our little spot is right in the middle of it all. Most days start early with the sound of the machines getting warmed up. It's a bit noisy, but that’s just how a print shop is. People come in with all sorts of requests, some small and some quite big. We just focus on getting the paper through the press without any jams. There is always ink on someone’s hands by noon. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going. The shop isn't fancy, just a practical space where we keep our supplies and the heavy equipment. We see a lot of neighbors passing by every morning. Sometimes they stop for a quick chat while they wait for their orders to finish. It gets quite crowded inside when there are a few people waiting, but we manage. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here in the market. Every day is different depending on what people need printed. Sometimes it’s just basic stuff, other times it takes a bit more effort to get the colors right. We just do the work and try to stay organized among the stacks of paper and boxes. It’s just us doing what we know how to do here in Karol Bagh.
