Aadikarta Foundation

Our spot is at A-11 in Gali Number 1, over in North Block West Vinod Nagar. It is pretty easy to find if you are familiar with the Shakarpur Baramad area. We are right here in East Delhi 110092. The Aadikarta Foundation has been operating out of this small space for a bit. It’s not a big corporate building or anything. Just a regular room where we get our work done. The street can get pretty crowded during the day with bikes and people going to work. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and talking to folks who live nearby. It feels like a real community place. We have some old furniture and a few computers that have seen better days. Sometimes the tea stall down the lane brings us drinks when we are working late. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. We don't really do big meetings or anything like that. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting around figuring out the next steps for the foundation. Living in Delhi, you get used to the noise and the busy streets. West Vinod Nagar has a lot of energy. We like being part of it. There is always something happening outside the window. We just try to stay focused on the work we started. It’s honest work and we do it right here from our little corner in Gali 1.
