Jaldhara Irrigation World

Out here in Village Bhrtiya, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Jaldhara Irrigation World is located in the Jam Kanpur tehsil of Dwarka district. Most of our life revolves around the farming seasons. When the rains are coming, everyone is in a hurry and our shop gets very crowded with people looking for pipes and irrigation supplies. We have a lot of stuff stacked up in our yard because farmers need specific things for their soil. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially after a heavy storm, so getting supplies delivered to the village takes a bit of planning. We know most of our customers by name since we’ve lived in this district for a long time. It’s not a fancy business with bright lights. It’s more of a place where you sit on a plastic chair and talk about the weather and the crops while figuring out what kind of pump is needed. My hands are usually dirty from handling the equipment, but that’s just how it is. We try to help out the local growers as much as we can because if they don't have water, nobody around here does well. We close up when the sun goes down and head home like everyone else in the village. It is a quiet life but we like being part of the community here in Bhrtiya.
