Hotel Damji

Hotel Damji is right in the middle of Dwarka, tucked behind the Kaklash Kund. We are also across from Sihori Nivas on Lakhmir Sangan Street. It’s a very old and spiritual part of the town, and the streets are quite narrow and crowded with people. You can always hear the temple bells and the sound of pilgrims walking by. Our building is a simple place where people come to rest after visiting the shrine. We spend our time checking people in, handing out keys, and making sure there is enough water for everyone. The rooms are basic and we don’t have any of those fancy modern gadgets. It’s just a place to sleep and wash up. Because we are near the Kund, the air sometimes feels a bit damp, but that’s just part of being in this location. The staff here mostly stays busy with the laundry and the cleaning because the salt in the air from the sea can make things feel gritty if you don't stay on top of it. We don't have a big marketing team; we just have a small desk at the entrance. People find us because of our location or because someone told them about us. We try to be honest about what we have and what we don't. It’s just a small hotel in a holy city, trying to keep things running.
