Simplex Infrastructure Limited

We are located at 5/13 Hospital Road, right in the Durgapur Steel Township. Being in a place like Durgapur-5, you get used to the industrial feel of the town. Our office for Simplex Infrastructure Limited is right in the thick of it. It’s a functional space above all else. We have the usual stuff—desks, a few computers, and stacks of papers that never seem to get any smaller. The road outside can get busy with people going to the hospital or the local markets. We’ve been here long enough that we know the rhythms of the street. The office itself is a bit plain. We haven't spent much time on the walls or anything like that. We are more interested in what’s happening on the construction sites. There’s usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere and someone complaining about the heat or the humidity. We aren't the type of people who like wearing suits. Most of us are in plain shirts and boots, ready to go out if something needs checking. It’s a practical way to live. We don't have a big sign outside, just enough so people can find the door. Working in the township means we see a lot of the same faces every day. It feels like a small community even though the company is quite large. We just do our part here and try to keep things running as smoothly as we can. It is a bit loud sometimes with the traffic, but we manage.
