S. N. Rai & Company

S. N. Rai & Company is based right on G. T. Road, at Epip More in Muchipara. We are pretty easy to find because we are directly opposite the L & T gate. Being in this part of Burdwan means there is always a lot of traffic and heavy vehicles passing by. Our office isn't anything elaborate, just a practical space where we manage our daily tasks. We deal with a lot of logistics and supply work for different projects around the area. It gets quite noisy and dusty with all the trucks, but we have gotten used to it over the years. There are a few of us who have been working together here for a long time. We mostly spend our days on the phone or checking through paperwork to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s a straightforward kind of life. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just focus on the work right in front of us. Often we end up having tea at the small shop nearby while we wait for deliveries to arrive. G. T. Road is always moving, and we just try to keep up with the flow. We have seen Muchipara change quite a bit, but our little corner remains much the same. It’s a local operation, and we like the fact that people know where to find us when they need something sorted out.
