S. B. Store

S. B. Store is located at Bhiringi More in the Benachity area. Our address is officially under the Faridpur police station in Burdwan district. Being at the More means we see a lot of people every day. It’s a busy intersection where everyone stops for something or other. The store isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the shelves. It’s the kind of place where you might have to squeeze past a crate to get to the back. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of our customers are folks from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for years. We don't have a website or any of those modern things; we just open the shutters and wait for the morning rush. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit of a mess, but people still find their way to us. We handle the sales ourselves, and there’s usually a bit of chatting involved about local news or the weather. It’s a simple life running a local shop. We don't have a mission statement, we just want to make sure the inventory is stocked and the change is correct. It gets a bit crowded during festival times, but that’s when it’s most fun. We’re just a regular part of the Bhiringi More community. Walking into the shop, you'll see we try our best to keep everything within reach, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We've got our own way of organizing things that works for us.
