About Prakash Trading – Building & Construction Material in Durgapur
Benachity is always crowded, but the Salbagan area has its own pace. Prakash Trading has been sitting here in the Burdwan district for a long time. People around here know me as the guy who is always moving boxes. It is mostly just a lot of lifting and counting things. I got some shelves put in last year, but they are already full to the brim. You know how it goes when you try to keep everything in stock for the customers. My nephew helps me with the paperwork sometimes because I am not great with the computer side of things. I prefer just talking to the drivers who bring the goods from the city. The rain in Burdwan can really slow things down, especially when the trucks get stuck or the roof starts leaking a little near the back door. I have to fix that one of these days. Mostly, it is just about making sure the orders are right and the local shops get what they need. It is not a fancy setup at all. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. I usually have tea around four o’clock across the street and then get back to packing the remaining orders. It is a lot of work but it keeps the family fed. Some days are quieter than others, which is when I finally get to sweep up.
