Impex Fashions

Down at 56/2 West Apcar Garden, that’s where you will find Impex Fashions. It’s a quiet enough street compared to some of the main roads around here. We have a small building where we do all our business. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers managing the daily tasks. We deal with garments and textiles, and there is usually stuff piled up in the corners. The office part is just a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do. People in the neighborhood know we are here. Sometimes the garden area gets a bit overgrown, but we focus more on what’s happening inside. It’s a practical place. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the colors look right. If a customer calls, they usually talk to the same person every time. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. We are just a few people trying to make a living in the fashion trade. Some days are long, especially when we have a big deadline, but we don't mind too much. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up at the end of the day. It’s just a regular local business with no bells or whistles. We do our work, pack the boxes, and hope for the best. That's life here.
