H S Balbir Bros Pvt Ltd is based out of the Sail Growth Works area in Kulti. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of machinery nearby. It is not the quietest place to work, but it suits us just fine. The office is right there in West Burdwan and it has been the center of our operations for quite some time now. We usually get in before the sun gets too high and start going through the logs. There are a lot of people coming and going because of the nature of the work in this district. We keep the gate open during the day so the breeze can get through, even if it brings in some of the grit from the road. The chairs are getting a bit old and the paint is peeling in the corners, but the desks are solid. We do not have a lot of fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of tea about what needs to get out the door by evening. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when there is a big project moving through. We just try to stay organized and keep the machines running without too much trouble. There is no point in complaining about the heat or the noise since that is just part of the job.
