Dwarakadhis Traders

You can find Dwarakadhis Traders on Nachan Road in the Benachity area. We are right near the Hdfc Bank, so it’s easy for people to give directions to us. The street is always full of people shopping and cars trying to find a place to park. Our shop isn't very large but we pack a lot of stuff into the space we have. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to reach the things at the top. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who walk in off the street. Benachity is a lively place to be. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we handle the cash and the bills. The floor is old tiles that have faded over the years. It gets a bit dark inside when the sky turns gray before a storm. We don't use a lot of high-tech gadgets here. Just a pen, a notebook, and some basic tools to measure things out. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a few minutes. We like being part of the community on Nachan Road. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep doing what we do every day. When it rains, we have to pull the stock back from the doorway so it stays dry. We know the routines of the street by heart now, from the morning sweepers to the evening rush.
