Pathoscope Lab

Pathoscope Lab is over here in the Bhabani Prasad Building. People sometimes call it the Giriprasadd Building too, so it gets a bit confusing for first-timers. We are down Dilip Cycle Lane in Benachity. It is a busy little spot. Most mornings we start early because that is when folks want their blood tests done before breakfast. We spend a lot of time looking at slides and checking machines. The lab isn't huge, but we keep it clean. Sometimes the lane outside gets crowded with cycles and people going to the shops. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve been here for a while now. My desk is near the window where I can see the street. It’s mostly routine stuff like sugar tests and regular checkups. We don’t do anything fancy, just the basic reports people need for their doctors. If you are walking down from the main road, just look for the cycle lane and you’ll find us easily enough. Sometimes the power goes out but the generator kicks in so the samples stay cold. It’s a lot of manual logging in books too. We try to get the papers ready by the evening so people can pick them up on their way home. It’s just a normal day here, nothing too exciting, just making sure the numbers are right on the reports for everyone who comes in.
