Our office is over at No. 34 Kabi Buru Sarni, which is right in the Durgapur City Center. Being in the city center makes it easier for us to handle the paperwork side of the food business. Yashoda Agri Foods is mainly about dealing with bulk supplies and getting things from the farms into the market. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. The office itself is pretty simple, just some desks, filing cabinets, and a few samples of grains and pulses sitting in jars on the shelf. It isn't a retail shop where you come to buy a kilo of rice, it is more about the business side of things. Durgapur is a big place, and being at Kabi Buru Sarni puts us right in the middle of everything. We have a small team here that manages the accounts and the logistics of moving food around. Sometimes we have to go out to the warehouses to check on the stock, but mostly we are here at the City Center office. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all the time. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the day-to-day work of keeping the food supply moving. It’s a lot of numbers and tracking bags of produce, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. It is just a regular office for a regular food company.
