Assembly Of God Church School

I've been working at Assembly Of God Church School on G T Road for a good while now. It sits right where Sen Raliegh Road-Kumarpur meets the main stretch in Asansol. Most people around here know exactly where we are because of the traffic and the kids heading in every morning. We get a lot of students coming from all over 713304. It isn't a fancy place with gold-plated walls or anything like that, just a regular building where we try to get things done. Some days it’s pretty loud with all the shouting during recess, but that is just how it goes with a school. The hallways are usually full of backpacks and projects taped to the walls. We have teachers who have been here for decades and others who are just starting out. It can be a bit chaotic when the bell rings and everyone is trying to leave at once on G T Road. There is always someone fixing a desk or painting a wall. We don't have a huge office for meetings, just a small space near the front door. People drop by to ask about enrollment or just to say hello to the staff. It feels like a small community inside those walls. Sometimes the gate gets stuck in the rain. We just do our work day after day and hope the kids learn something useful. It’s a busy spot in Asansol and we are just glad to be a part of the daily routine for so many local families.
