Ankita Fashion is located right here in Asansol. It’s where we live and where we work. Asansol is a place that feels familiar to everyone who stays here for long. Our shop isn't tucked away in some hidden corner; we are part of the local fabric of the city. We’ve been running Ankita Fashion with a small team. It’s mostly just us making sure the clothes look right and the customers are satisfied. We don't have a big website or a social media team. We just open the doors in the morning and get to it. Some days it’s raining hard and the street gets muddy, but we still show up. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We spend our time checking fabrics and talking to people who walk in. Asansol has its own pace, and we fit right into it. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just sell fashion. It’s pretty basic if you think about it. We have our regulars who come by to chat as much as they do to shop. That’s what makes being in Asansol nice. You get to know people. We aren't some big brand from the city. We are just Ankita Fashion, and we are happy to be where we are. We keep the shelves stocked and the lights on, and that is enough for us most days.
