United Hospital

Our place, United Hospital, is located right in Rajnandgaon. It’s a local spot that most people in the neighborhood know about. We aren't part of some giant national chain or anything like that. It’s just us here, trying to keep things running smoothly for everyone who walks through the door. The building has been around for a while, and you can tell by the way the floor tiles are worn down in the hallways. We don’t mind it, though. It makes the place feel lived-in and comfortable. Every morning, we open up early to get everything ready before the first lot of people shows up. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic at the front desk when everyone arrives at once, but we manage to get through it. The staff is mostly local folks who have lived in Rajnandgaon their whole lives. We talk about the weather or what’s happening at the market while we work. We don't use a lot of complicated jargon here. If someone has a question, we just explain it simply. The waiting room has some old magazines and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly, but it’s a quiet enough place to sit. We focus on the daily tasks, like keeping the medicine cabinet stocked and making sure the patient files are where they should be. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like being a part of the community here and seeing familiar faces.
